Laura Schmitz-Justen
Laura Schmitz-Justen is the Centre for British Studies’ Visiting Scholar for the summer term of 2024. She is a postdoctoral researcher in British literary and cultural studies at the University of Münster. After focussing on the role of the poet in the long eighteenth century for her doctoral research, she is now pursuing a project focussed on the late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century novel. At the Centre for British Studies, she is conducting research on women’s suffrage novels of this period.
